Craft and Chatter

Our 'Craft and Chatter' group normally meets on Thursdays between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon 

Refreshments are provided as well as wool and knitting needles.  Folk are free to bring along whatever crafts they make themselves at home as well as joining in with whatever the group take on.  We have made trauma teddies (which the police give to children suffering the trauma of abuse or accidents/incidents), twiddle muffs (which are recognized to help folk suffering from dementia) and are now knitting/crocheting poppies together with folk all over the Village to 'yarn bomb' the Village during the Forties weekend in June, not forgetting the ongoing scarves and mittens for the Shoe Box Appeal in October.
